Making Calendula Essential oil



Traditionally recommended for sensitive skin, rough and blotchy, Calendula oil obtained by maceration of flowers of Marigold Gardens is also perfect for treating skin problems like irritation, burns, cracked, chapped hands, beatings sun, etc....

It is antiseptic, healing, restorative and anti-inflammatory.

Do it yourself! Use of dried marigold flowers (pharmacy and herbal medicine). Prefer a cold maceration, which is longer but the end result will also be better.

You can, among other things, use your macerate ointment or salve. The recipe is very simple:

Melt 1 teaspoon beeswax granules in a water bath with 20 ml of macerate your calendula, when the pellets will melt, pour the mixture into a glass jar. It will then harden and turn into a balm.
